RESULTS

Pictured (right) are the winning team of Mike and Sue Gillette and their son Stuart and friend Mick Young., who won a trophy plus a Sunday luch for 4 at Stan and ollies. Also pictured is Liz Menzies the lady with the highest score (21) and again Stuart Gillette who had the gents highest score 20 0n c/b). These winners won golf trophies plus 25€ vouchers from Mick the Grip! Other winners were the runners up team of David and Paul Hirst from Stan and Ollies and friend Craig Roberts from Dyna Drain who actually donated the winning prize. The lady who was nearest the string was Rachel Leckey and the man was again Mike Gillette.

18 teams entered and we raised 1255.55€ for the AECC from the entry fees, raffle and donations made on the 5th for refreshments provided by Ralph  Weedon and Sue Pegg.

In fact people were very generous as they threw over 92€ into the pot!

The prize giving and raffle were held in the Olde 9th.

Although this years golf day was hard work as alot of people cancelled either close to or actually on the day the day went along without a hitch and the people who did turn up really enjoyed it and as I say were really generous with their support. Some people an local businesses also donated raffle prizes and I must say a couple of people who couldn´t play did send in their entry fee of 10€ which was gratefully received.
